At-home sessions are a time capsule
Your clothes, hairstyles, furniture, and tiny baby—all of that is eventually going to change. Although I pride myself in editing, directing, and posing in a “timeless” manner—there’s no way for us to keep these photos from becoming dated. But that’s the whole point, right?
Being able to date your photographs is what makes them so precious.
They’re moments frozen in time, everything kept intact from the paint color on the nursery walls to love on your faces.
During your session I can’t help but think about your baby all grown up, flipping through these photos. They’ll see you as young parents joyfully cradling them. Their well worn baby blanket when it still had every stitch in place. And what the house they were brought home to looked like.
“Kailee instantly makes you feel comfortable. Everyone looks forward to the next time we see her.”

Newborns and I go way back
And it’s not only because I’ve been photographing them for over a decade now...
I embrace the moments of life fully
same as you
During your session when your toddler runs up while we’re photographing your newborn, I don’t want you to apologize and try to hold them back.
I want them to run up to their mom and new sibling like they genuinely would any other day of the week.
Instead of stopping that moment, I will take a step back.
As the moments unfold I’ll document the uncontainable goodness that is your family.
