NASHVILLE LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER

At-home sessions are a time capsule

Your clothes, hairstyles, furniture, and tiny babyall of that is eventually going to change. Although I pride myself in editing, directing, and posing in a “timeless” manner—there’s no way for us to keep these photos from becoming dated. But that’s the whole point, right?

Being able to date your photographs is what makes them so precious.
They’re moments frozen in time, everything kept intact from the paint color on the nursery walls to love on your faces.

During your session I can’t help but think about your baby all grown up, flipping through these photos. They’ll see you as young parents joyfully cradling them. Their well worn baby blanket when it still had every stitch in place. And what the house they were brought home to looked like.

“Kailee instantly makes you feel comfortable. Everyone looks forward to the next time we see her.”

Newborns and I go way back

And it’s not only because I’ve been photographing them for over a decade now...

60+ Births Documented

Being on call during my birth photos days, I was always stressed … until I stepped foot in the birth space. There, I was merely a witness to the most life changing experience a person can have. Giving birth is a blur so it’s hard to remember the strength you had or your child's very first breath in this world. These photos shaped memories, provided healing, and reminded those parents of the exact moment everything changed.

Postpartum Doula

When I first moved to TN I took care of many families and newborns as a postpartum doula. Those early days, adjusting to a new normal, is equal parts tough and magical. Every home I walk into for a session, I want those parents to feel wrapped up in the warmest hug of understanding and admiration. These photos are a chance for them to focus on, and keep, the magic.

One Lucky Mama

My ultimate and favorite credential is being my daughter’s mom. Everytime she reaches out to hold my hand, I never know if it’ll be the last—I want to bottle that feeling up in photos. Looking back at them, whether she is getting wrapped in a towel after bath time or being rocked to sleep, she’ll see the love Mom always had for her.

I embrace the moments of life fully
same as you

During your session when your toddler runs up while we’re photographing your newborn, I don’t want you to apologize and try to hold them back.
I want them to run up to their mom and new sibling like they genuinely would any other day of the week.
Instead of stopping that moment, I will take a step back.
As the moments unfold I’ll document the uncontainable goodness that is your family.
